Adoption helped build our family.
We know that adoption is complicated - and costly. We would have benefited from financial assistance while we were in the thick of our adoption journey, but we were consistently denied grants due to our income level.
We really felt the financial pressure on us after having a 19 day ICPC stay, leaving us with an unforseen $12,000 hole in our pockets. To add to this, we are exeriencing unexpected delays to finalize our adoption, which will cost us an additional $6,000.
Jenna and I know first hand that there are many other families in our shoes, so after bringing home our son Christopher in September 2022, we decided to act. In Janurary 2023, we officially founded the Bound With Love Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Our mission is to help hopeful families offset the cost of adoption by awarding grants to those that do not typically qualify for financial assistance due to income thresholds.
